We offer Fitness vacations for singles, couples and small groups of friends or family members. Also, people can travel alone in complete safety throughout Costa Rica. My spouse and I would like to experience a fitness vacation, however, we would like to bring the kids, can we? Absolutely. Having three children of our own, we understand the challenge of fitting in workout time; while appreciating how valuable that time is. We are happy to stagger workouts, so that while Mom is taking her morning walk/run, Dad can hang with the kids on the beach, and then switch; same goes for afternoon weight training sessions. What is the average age of a Solo-Fitness Vacation client? Any age is a good age to begin a fitness program. However, most of our clients range in age from 30 to 60 years old. Do I need to be very fit to participate in a Solo-Fitness Vacation? The only thing you need to be is able to walk and willing to help us design an exercise program that will work for you. Clients come in all body types, ages and fitness levels. What is a typical day in the life of a Solo-Fitness Vacation? A typical day begins on the beach with a short meditation exercise followed by cardiovascular activity, stretching and some light weight bearing exercises. Then the day is yours to do as you'd like. We will be happy to make recommendations and help you connect with the right people for whatever day's activities you choose. At the end of your AM session, we will arrange a convenient time to meet for our early evening weight training session. An evening session will take place in a weight training facility or on a deserted beach to which we will provide transportation. Enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Pacific while you train.
